{"id":448,"date":"2014-08-20T15:22:16","date_gmt":"2014-08-21T01:22:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hilug.org\/?p=448"},"modified":"2024-10-07T09:39:15","modified_gmt":"2024-10-07T19:39:15","slug":"hawaii-lego-users-group-at-the-pacific-aviation-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hilug.org\/?p=448","title":{"rendered":"Hawaii LEGO Users Group at the Pacific Aviation Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a blast at the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificaviationmuseum.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Pacific Aviation Museum<\/a>&#8216;s Annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kitv.com\/news\/small-planes-big-roars-at-biggest-little-airshow\/27561806#!bG6j7r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biggest Little Airshow<\/a> weekend event. There were huge crowds both days and lots of eager public LEGO builders entering our club&#8217;s contest with about 100 entries each day. It was quite an experience being set up in front of the inspiration for their\u00a0emblem, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Flying_Tigers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">P40 Flying Tiger<\/a>, at the entrance to Hangar 79 while the model airplanes swooshed by outside.
